I recently had the pleasure of staying at Il Risveglio Nei Sassi Villa in Matera, and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare. The directions provided by the host, Savio, were spot-on, making it easy to find this hidden gem in the heart of Matera's historic center. The air conditioning in the villa worked flawlessly, providing a cool oasis after a day of exploring the picturesque streets. The well-equipped kitchen with modern cookware and utensils allowed us to whip up a delicious meal after visiting nearby renowned restaurants like Ristorante Nadi and La Gattabuia. The comfortable sitting area and dining table were perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine sourced from the fridge, stocked with delightful treats by our thoughtful host. Waking up to a cup of freshly brewed coffee made with the provided tea and coffee facilities was a delightful start to each day, complemented by the stunning view from the flat-screen TV in the villa. Il Risveglio Nei Sassi Villa truly exceeded all expectations, providing a luxurious and pet-friendly retreat that I can't wait to return to. Thank you, Savio, for a memorable stay!
